Berlin is certainly always worth a visit. But it is also gaining in popularity as a place to live amongst people from all around the world. Berlin is not only one of the least expensive metropolitan cities, but also increasingly t

Steve and Ron's holiday experience.

Fuerteventura is not known as a very gay resort. Gran Canaria, Tenerife are "better" places for that. But even on Fuerte there is something going on for the not straight holidaymakers.

Entertainment:

There is a drag bar in Corralejo, which puts on a great show.

Its called Sadies': Fuerteventura's ONLY dragbar. Ex Pat entertainer Kenny Webster has made the island his home after turning his back on his house town in the UK. He was driven out of the Old Region by bullying that didnt stop, even culminating in assault that hospitalised him. Now he is doing a drag show, for gay and not so gay guests. Corralejo is the place to be. (Sadies also hosts an anual charity event in August, "Imagine a superior world". Raising money for several charities.)

Afterwards we went off to Bubbles. Officially a gay-bar at the Atlantico Centre in Corralejo, but fortunately you will find a mix of people having a good time together. The bar located in the basement, is trendy, with friendly staff, and amazing music. If you travel there say hello to Juan and the guys (mentioning sunnyfuerteventura.com of course). NOTE: Juan of Bubbles was chosen Corralejo's Top Ba

Lanzarote

La Palma

This is a gay friendly island, but there are two specific LGBT centres. The historic neighbourhood of La Esquina in Santa Cruz de la Palma is a popular place for LGBT+ residents and tourists, and over recent years a small Pride event has been established at the beginning of July. The bar and restaurant atmosphere of La Esquina is open and diverse, and this includes the Cine Teatro Chico, which is mainly used as a cinema, but is also a centre of cultural interest. During May and July each year this cinema hosts a LGBT film festival with dates advertised locally and at the Cine Teatro Chico.

Los Llanos de Aridane has a popular homosexual bar and restaurant called La Luna that often hosts exhibitions and reside music, and also works closely with Cine Teatro Chico in Santa Cruz de la Palma.

Bar Gay Canary Islands

Gran Canaria has consolidated itself as one of the most popular male lover tourist resorts in Europe. Only a few hours flight away from the Old Continent's main cities, the island acts as a meeting point for tourists looking for temperatures between 18 and 25 degrees all year round.

The accommodation offer is as varied as the Island itself and as welcoming as its people. You can identify accommodation in attractive bungalows or apartments on the coast or small state hotels on the central area of the island for those who choose to enjoy character. You can also discover a large variety of services intended for stop and relaxation from a spa session to a mud bath.

But above all, Gran Canaria proposals a whole host of beaches for sun and sea lovers. In the south of the island, we detect Maspalomas beach, which stretches for several kilometres, immersed in an enormous field of dunes, offering the opportunity for everyone to relax a day at the beach. There are peaceful areas for nudism and more lively areas around the ‘beach bars'.

More and more gay men are choosing to go to Gran Canaria and make it their home, so we've put together lots of useful information to support mak
