And even in today's "sex via internet hookup" environment, men's bath houses continue to thrive. Most of America's larger cities contain at least one gay bath house- and Milwaukee is no exception.
For those who have never been in a gay men�s bath house, this type of establishment is typically a place for consenting men to find nearly-anonymous sex. This is a fun place. They're usually not so busy on Fridays and there's not that many people there but Saturdays are attractive busy and full. They usually have drag shows on the top floor until like 11. If you've never been to a show and would like to go to one, this is the place to go.

The Club Milwaukee Baths opened in June 1974 as a franchise of the then-popular national Club Bath Chain. Its entrance was in an alley just north of Wisconsin Road, a block from the Central Library and on the same block as the Fire Department Headquarters.
For some time in the mid-late 1970s, the Club Milwaukee (Club Baths affiliate) was one of the focal points of the gay men�s community in Milwaukee. In addition to hosting popular specials (weiners for $1, workout and buddy specials, etc.), they held annual �Mr. Club Milwaukee� contests, as skillfully as promotional events for the GPU, a queer church parish, and other businesses.
The Spartacus American Bicentennial Gay Guide (1976) described it as: "Private, of course, like most of the Club chain, so take i.d., or your membership card from your hometown Club. All the usual Club amenities are available at this well-liked establishment.".
On February 14th, 1976, the Seven Hundred Building on Wisconsin Avenue, which housed the Club Bath, was ripped by energy. However that "building" was actually composed of two buildings, an east and a west building; the east building was severly damaged, and was demolished right after the heat. But the w
