Gay ships

I just watched season 4 of Massive Mouth, and while I do contain thoughts on it, this really stuck in my craw. I’m sure I’m going to procure some flack for this but, Aiden is a really bad character. Aiden has been in the show for two seasons, and he has less personality than Lump, a background nature. Hell, Milk was in FOUR EPISODES and has a more defined individuality than Aiden. We haven’t even met Aiden’s Jesse that he mentioned when he met Matthew, the only ally he’s ever mentioned having. About the only thing I learned about Aiden this season was that Aiden seemed to look down his nose at Matthew’s sense of humor at the two pools they go to. But aside from that, Aiden’s just this flat perfect guy with nothing absorbing. Aiden is just Blaine from Glee. He has no dreams, no motivations, no personal problems, no school drama, no friends of his own, no baggage, no insecurities. Aiden exists to be Matthew’s partner. And he gentle of sucks. Aiden is not a classmate. He’s not like Jay or even Devon. He’s not going to change or increase. And that upsets me. I don’t want to observe Matthew get his heart broken, but every other personality has had multiple love interests, alternative crus

  • For years, queer fans have matched up their favorite pretend characters in LGBTQ+ relationships.
  • This is mostly due to the historic lack of LGBTQ+ representation in media.
  • For Pride Month, Insider position together a list of LGBTQ+ non-canon ships that should have been real.

"Supergirl" could have been groundbreaking as the first superhero series to feature a lead LGBTQ+ ship with Supercorp.

"Supergirl" is one of the most prominent lgbtq+ ships in recent years.

The LGBTQ+ community has been starved of representation in media for a prolonged time, which has led a lot of fans to ship — that is, pair romantically — some of their favorite TV show and show characters.

Last year, "Supergirl" fans were disappointed after the series ended without any real romantic closure for Supercorp, the ship call given to the titular character (Melissa Benoist) and Lena Luthor (Katie McGr

22 Queer Non-Canon Ships Worth Losing All Your Nap Over

"Honestly, the fact that the show has blatantly teased it for nearly TEN DAMN YEARS and STILL say Dean and Cas are 'just friends' has become insulting to me as a fan of the show. The storyline and chemistry are all there, and while it might have been a ratings risk to make them canon in 2008, it sure as hell isnt now.

Dean and Cas could go down as one of the most epic 'star-crossed lovers' storylines to ever be shown on TV, if the CW would just let it happen already!"

"I actually can't even begin to explain Dean and Cas' bond because its too painful and beautiful. I've gotten a lot of shit from homophobic members of the spn fandom about how I'm delusional for shipping them, or how I'm gross for seeing their love as amorous . Their story literally spans a decade so I can't condense it for this, but I've never felt this strongly for two fictional dudes in love. It's so frustrating but I really ponder it's leading somewhere soon."

I’m not going to bother with much preamble, because we all know what AO3 is and we all comprehend why we’re here: to rank and categorize all 100 of the most popular ships on the website. Now, a lot of these came as surprises to me – apparently, people actually… write fanfiction about straight couples? But, for the most part, we’re dealing with the old fandom classics, the standards, your Kirkspocks, your Johnlocks, your Johndaves. I will now proceed to rank them all, one by one, often with no understanding of the original canons whatsoever.

    100. Levi/Eren Yeager – Attack on Titan

This one grinds my gears enjoy no other. I mean, first off, Levi is enjoy, thirty, and Eren is fourteen or something. And that would be unpleasant enough, but fond. Guys. They both have perfectly nice, entirely age-appropriate boyfriends right there. All the moment and energy poured into this nonsense that could include gone to Erwin/Levi? Or Eren/
