Gay Satan is canon in South Park. However, there is nothing conflicting with this in the actual text of the Bible, so gay satan real…? Up to your headcanon I guess.

David Gaider on Zevran, under a chop for length:
“I was going to skip over Zevran, honestly, as I felt like I didn’t have a lot to tell in the way of stories about him… but I recognize he still has some (ardent) fans. Plus, on reflection, I thought maybe I DO contain a few things to say. 😅 Sooo we’ll notice how this goes.
Zevran came along much later in the DAO process, as we were trying to round out the cast of party members. Alistair and Morrigan were well underway (as "main” characters, they were concepted very early) and I’d just started to consider who our Rogue followers might be when… things changed, a bit.
See, BioWare had released a game not long beforehand called Jade Empire. It had included some same-sex options in its romances - not obscured appreciate the way Juhani’s “romance” had been hinted at in KotOR, but explicit. To this night, I have no idea who on the Jade Empire team was behind it, or why.
More to the aim , the same-sex options had received a lot of attention and praise - almost universal praise, in fact. In 2005, everyone was just pleasantly surprised. And I don’t recall if I went to James and

so. i have decided to remake my blog completely. i’ve had this one for 10 years (and i’m not deleting it), but it’s just such a mess at this point.
+ i still can’t word or reply to anyone anymore with my main blog (i GUESS bc of when i was hacked even though this didn’t happen until recently?? who fucking knows)
i think i will gradually move a lot of my edits from this one to the new one simply because i still really love a lot of them.
i would love to keep my mutuals, but i totally get if y’all don’t wanna persist to follow me, it’s all good~

The messy queer representation of Dragon Age: Origins was commendable for 2009—and I even miss some of its thorns
Dragon Age at 15
All this week we're looking back on the best of the Dragon Age series, to rejoice its 15th anniversary. We've got loads of wonderful Dragon Age opinions and retrospectives, and we'll be adding more to the list in the days to come.
It might sound like stating the evident, but queer representation—in games particularly, for some reason—is a thorny subject. As I myself am starting to nudge into my early 30s (oh, god) I'm beginning to detect that the wants and needs of younger gamers aren't quite aligning with my own.
In mulling over my views on Taash in Dragon Age: The Veilguard (a thing I am still doing), I couldn't help but undergo nostalgic (given it's Dragon Age: Origins’ 15th anniversary this week) about the representation featured in that game—flawed and messy, certainly, but still remarkably bold for its time.
As evidenced by recent RPGs prefer Baldur's Gate 3 and The Veilguard's movement towards "playersexual" romances (I position that in quotes because The Veilguard's characters are all technically pansexual,

I don’t quite comprehend your point about zevran’s dialogue? I mean spotlighting he’s attracted to whatever gender your warden is is not that alarming as a writing decision (I mean...I do that when talking to people). I’m assuming you don’t mean it that way, but the way it’s worded sounds a bit biphobic as if prefer, he doesn’t count as rep bc they decided to make him attracted to both genders. I’m not saying that’s your intent but I’m confused by your wording and point.
I don’t recognize if you mean this post or this publish, but I can attempt to expand -
The original anon was concerned that Zevran wasn’t really bi. I don’t know if this is something they were concerned about themselves or saw it said by someone else, but this is a claim that I’ve seen many Dragon Age fans make over the years; that Zevran isn’t really bi, he was just forced to be by the Crows. The fact that Zevran, in these peoples’ eyes, is “more in love” with a female warden based on the dialogue changes is “proof.” (Basically it’s prefer an extreme version of the good ole “they’re just player-sexual” bullshit.) My response was not to worry about it, but this is what I mean when I utter there are negative impl
