'I'm happy she's coming out!' And Just Like That... fans praise Miranda's LGBT sexual awakening following 'charged' moment with bisexual Che Diaz - after discovering her non-existent sex existence with husband Steve
Miranda Hobbes' LBGT sexual awakening during the latest episode of And Just Like That... when she shared a steamy moment with attracted to both genders Che Diaz has been lauded by fans of the Sex And The City reboot.
After watching episode three, entited When In Rome, fans have applauded the storyline as they declared online they are 'happy she is finally coming out' and admitted the sex-positive scene made them feel 'tearful'.

The Bi Monthly
A month ago, a companion (the brilliant bi author Rachel Krantz) texted me urging me to pen a think piece about Miranda Hobbes’s bisexuality.
“Please!” she said. “The world needs it and I don’t have it in me.”
“Do I have to?” I replied.
Culturally we’ve jog the topic of Miranda’s sexuality into the ground—most of us are still recovering from 2022’s Che Twitter discourse. But And Just Like That’s Season 2 has wrapped, and even though it’s Bi Public presence Week, I still haven’t seen any recent memes or op-eds lead us to progressive conversations about bisexuality.
Unfortunately, I do hold to.
What are my qualifications? I wrote a book on the topic, but mostly I’ve just spent years talking about bisexuality on the internet. Annoyingly this actually does matter, because it turns out the internet is where most conversations about bisexuality take place. Bisexuals wind up online because, while gay bars are quite literally under attack and sapphic bars are (also literally) facing extinction, bisexual bars never really existed to begin with. Homosexual bars have historically served as decisive community gathering points, so a lack of bi bars is the physical form of bi e
A lot of queers who — very understandably — didn’t watch the authentic Sex and the City are watching And Just Like That, and even though I promised you’d be able to track along anyway, I reflect I need to establish the stage for this one. Big was, as both me and Susan Sharon pointed out last week, a real prick to Carrie for most of their on-screen partnership. During one of his and Carrie’s most wankery times, he went to Paris when he couldn’t commit to her, fell for this 20-something fashion phenom named Natasha, married her, and then cheated on her with Carrie in their apartment, repeatedly. And then! When Natasha caught them! She chased after Carrie and fell and busted up all her whole teeths and had to get an entire new mouth! Carrie is the one who had to take her to the teeth ER!
Oh ho, but Carrie wasn’t done. She later stalked Natasha to this restaurant where she was just trying to enjoy a friendly meal with her novel chompers, and made a scene about how responsible she felt. Natasha was like, “Well now you’ve ruined both my existence and my lunch!” And that glorious one-liner was the last we saw of her.
Until now.
You understand, I maybe sho
Will a queer Miranda preserve the SATC reboot?
Just in case you’ve forgotten, at the end of the second SATC film Miranda was still married to her long-time love interest Steve. In season one, episode three, however, Miranda is set up with a lesbian woman named Syd at her rule firm’s softball game. After claiming “I’m not gay! When did being unattached translate into being gay?” to her coworker, Miranda brings Syd to a company dinner to obtain respect at work and kisses her in the elevator. “Yep, definitely straight,” she claims.
Otherwise, the unique series’ depiction of bisexuality has proved pretty problematic since its 1998 debut. When Carrie dates a bisexual man in season three, Charlotte states that bisexual men are the reason that there’s no available men in Fresh York, Samantha dismisses it as sexual experimentation, Miranda calls it “greedy double-dipping”, and Carrie refers to bisexuality as a “layover to Gaytown”.
Since the let go of the second SATC film, Cynthia Nixon has come out as gay – marrying LGBTQ+ rights activist Christine Marinoni, running to become New York’s first openly gay governer, and directing a female homosexual drama on Broadway.
Perhaps the potential pl

However, some fans have been less than impressed with her personality in the modern episodes, taking to Twitter to trademark her "embarrassing" and "too woke" because of her rather awkward interactions with her Black professor, which so far have included commenting on her altering hairstyle and playing the role of 'white saviour' during an attack on the subway.
