***Spoilers for Seraph of the Finish manga chapter 131***
I just wanna talk about Mika and Yuu's changes in demeanor in this chapter. This page, in particular, was actually really sorrowful to me.
Mika, while going along with Yuu's plans and ideas, was never really enthusiastic or optimistic about their chances of turning him back into a human. He was never super invested in saving his own experience, but now that it's Yuu's life, he's suddenly super motivated. It's gloomy to me because it really emphasizes Mika's disregard for his own existence. He didn't care as much about saving himself, but it's clear that he's about to stream all of himself and then some into keeping Yuu safe. It makes a depressing kind of sense. He's always been like this. Even as a kid, he gave up his body and blood to a vampire in order to provide for his family. He gave his life to distract Ferid to secure that at least Yuu made it out alive. He then spent the next four years starving himself in order to keep as much of his humanity as feasible and searching for Yuu. Once he found him, it was his single-minded mission to take Yuu away from the p
LOL, if anything, sometimes I think Yuu is gayer, and I’m not only saying this because he didn’t react after seeing two girls almost-naked.
1. He’s the one who starts most of the physical contact now and he doesn’t seem to intellect the closeness with Mika at all, pulling him even closer most of the time. He doesn’t perform this with the unwind of his family.

2. He blushed in 3 out of 4 the family events with Mika, which is more than what we can say about the family events with the squad.
3. Did you perceive the way his character, behavior and goals in general changed after conclusion Mika? To the show that even Shinoa said he matured? And that he went from “I DON’T NEED FRIENDS” and creature a very sad and lonely to a super happy and a walking sunshine 24/7? Which only got worse when he finally reunited with Mika? A huge part of his character development was because of Mika.

Mikaela Hyakuya: only family member to endure the incident in sanguinem, he cherishes mika with no default. Although this two may disagree over little things, they are very close. And adore eachother dearly, even more than family..
Shinoa Hiiragi: she is a valued companion of Yuichiro's, and although she shows some romantic interest in him, he does not give back her feelings.
Gurren Ichenose: yuu values gurren like a father, and looks up to him. The two are devoted to eachother, yet some stubborn 'fami
Headcanon of Yuu’s sexuality
We might meme him as gay but honestly he’s probably bisexual.
Reason? Let’s get a look at the characters that people ships with him: the most popular would be Mika, and then Shinoa, also Yoichi, Mitsuba, Kimizuki, Guren, Asuramaru, and several more. (Ferid you’re not included shush)
Portraying him as double attraction makes it easier for multishipping, which would probably fits his characteristic greater, that’s so uncover and friendly to everyone and not just to one specific character in the story.
Also, let’s take a see at Asuramaru, which is smol femboy (for those who’s going to scream “trap is a slur” to me, then die in a fire) and looks pretty much fancy a genderbend version of Shinoa, only shorter, and with slightly different hair color, but still close enough. He got both the feminine and masculine appeal, with him being awfully adorable, heckin cute, but he’s still male even though he’s androgynous, so we can’t say that Yuu is direct or gay for him. He’s both.
